Data Analyst

 

With expertise in Power BI, SQL, and programming, this role will support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights, develop dashboards, and optimize data processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize business insights. 

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases. 

  • Utilize programming skills (Python, or other relevant languages) to automate data processing and analysis. 

  • Clean, transform, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability. 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. 

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modelling to identify trends and opportunities. 

  • Integrate data from multiple sources and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines

  • Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices in data governance. 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU FIT  INTO THIS ROLE:

  • Strong experience in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations

  • Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated measures and columns. 

  • Ability to connect to various data sources and perform data modelling.

  • Proficiency in writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and optimizing performance

  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

  • Python for data analysis, automation, and statistical modelling. 

  • Experience with pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of scripting for automation and API integrations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to extract insights from data. 

  • Experience in predictive modelling, machine learning, or statistical analysis is a plus. 

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. 

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline management

  • Strong communication skills in English to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 

  • 1+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
