Responsible for the entire life cycle of clients’ projects, we develop project plans and workflows and ensure high quality control. Plan the required steps and procedure for the translation project, from conducting the initial project analysis and developing the project plan, to contracting with other parties and overseeing the appropriate steps in the project’s development. Focus on the process and on the client’s requirements. Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters, time and budget resources. Identify and document opportunities to improve the production processes continuously.

A random Day in the Life of our Project Managers

Morning

• Starting the day with checking the progress notes/tasks left by the PM partner from the evening or night shift, while enjoying the morning coffee.

• Checking projects for completion, final QA and executing the scheduled deliveries. Answering to urgent queries, emails and Traduno tasks.

• “Somali to German, technical, deadline: tomorrow evening” new project landing in the system. This day promises to be challenging.

Noon

• Get the PO confirmation from a trusted linguist on a pending complex project.

• Final check of the marketing book, that was translated in 6 languages, before sending it to the client.

• Projects keep queueing in Traduno system. Sales people are unstoppable today!

Afternoon

• Help a new colleague learn a few tricks about a translation software. Sharing is caring.

• Pass successfully a test for a new client, that seemed impossible at the beginning. Let’s celebrates some victories today!
