Business Development Manager, USA

 

YOUR ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business acquisition and building long-lasting client relationships.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:       

  • Hunting for New Opportunities: Proactively reach out to key decision-makers using multiple channels (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, etc.).

  • Building a Pipeline: Generate self-driven leads and develop a strong pipeline of high-quality prospects.

  • Consultative Selling: Research customer needs, position Travod as a strategic solution, and craft compelling proposals and presentations in collaboration with the delivery team.

  • Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts, secure new clients, and onboard them successfully.

  • Driving Growth: Stay on top of industry trends, identify emerging opportunities, and share insights to refine our strategy.

  • Maintaining Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service and swiftly address any client concerns.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Proven Sales Expertise: At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or marketing on the US market, ideally in a services-based industry.

  • Lead Generation Mastery: Experience in creating and nurturing a sales pipeline through prospecting, research, and outreach.

  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Confidence and skill in structuring win-win deals.

  • Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of translation/localization processes and the challenges of global content will be an asset.

  • Results Orientation: A track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

  • A Growth Mindset: Passion for learning and adapting to new trends and market dynamics.
